Drinking Liberally - Charleston, SC

We've been so engrossed in our LITTLE GREEN MEN the past month, we don't know what to talk about this week! Our project with Charleston Peace garnered coverage in West Of and Charleston City Paper and The Post and Courier. Nothing like unearned press!

We cleaned out the mailbag and found all kinds of neat odds & ends to share with our thirsty D-Libbers this week, too ...

A slate of strong Democratic candidates locally and statewide appeared at the CHARLESTON COUNTY DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION last Saturday.

John Graham Altman III is NOT RUNNING for reelection!

D-Libber Fletch has cooked up the revolutionary idea of an open debate for all the people of Charleston with the question "HAS THE BUSH PRESIDENCY BEEN GOOD FOR AMERICA? " Mark your calendar now for Tuesday, April 11, 6 p.m. at St. Andrews regional Library, West Ashley.

ANYBODY KEEPING SCORE?
Brownie ... Scooter Libby ... Andy Card ... Jack Abramoff ... who will be next?

HOW MUCH ARE YOU SPENDING IN IRAQ?

AND FOR A LITTLE FUN ...

Quick poll: Think of one song that says DEMOCRACY or LIBERAL or PEACE to you. Send the title and artist to us at charleston@drinkingliberally.org!
