Let's play: Who am I talking about?

Who would you first think of when you read this quote, who is it about?
"Let's put it this way: Tensions had been building up between us for a long time ... He always thinks he is right, even if he is alone."

Any reader on the left or center (and many from the right) would probably believe that this is a quote of Powell WRT bush or Rummy or something like that.

But, this is a quote of Montasser el-Zayat - and Egyptian lawyer that spent time in jail with Ayman al-Zawahiri - of al-Zawahiri, deputy leader of al-Qaeda.

That was tough, the two are soooo similar.
