The 360 degree turning point

While we all - rightfully - rejoice about Abu Marsab al-Zarqawi's death. Few in the know are calling it any more than a tactical victory in that the new system worked, morale will rise and approval will be misplaced onto President Bush or a few weeks, but strategically it is irrelevant. Zarqawi wasn't on good terms with UBLs al Qaeda (the real al Qaeda), and Zarqawi was actually replaced in April by an Iraqi national. Therefore – again unfortunately – the civil war will press on.

None-the-less, I'll take it. Now can we please go get the real trophy? That of the head of bin Laden, and more so, Ayman al-Zawahiri...?

But in all the hype, this was missed.

A right-wing extremist/terrorist admitted to attempting to attack an abortion clinic with a pipe bomb in Maryland. No one was hurt but this threat is a more likely culprit for death and destruction than any fanatical Islamic extremist. And they have the blessing of the religious conservative.
