Why is Miers' a "surprise"?  1) underqualified 2) two hated by the ruling Christian Extremists (I question the Christian claim) Furthermore, now is about the best time to deflect attention from the culture of corruption the Republican Party has brought to Washington and across the nation. Now as I write this, most headlines have lost the surprise term but I'm sure the TV media is still calling it a surprise. THIS IS NOT A SURPRISE, and the next one will be a real nut-job.
